Dude, Watchmen is the best movie of the year so far. It is much better than the very mediocre Revolutionary Road and others on this list.

While I’ll agree that Watchmen is technically impressive, Zack Snyder still hasn’t figured out how to tell a halfway decent story — and here he was given what many consider the greatest graphic novel of all times as his source material!
Acting is subpar at best and the whole thing is far too much style over substance. I guess we’ll have to agree to disagree here but after the first ten minutes (which were brilliant, IMO) I was bored and already exhausted.

Watchmen is by far the bravest movie this year, and I don’t really believe that anyone could have done a better adaptation of the graphic novel. After I watched the intro sequence with B. Dylan’s ”Times They are A-Changing”, I instantly knew that Zack understands the world of Watchmen perfectly, but the rest of the movie didn’t dissapoint aswell. I would compare this movie to Blade Runner, people didn’t like that movie by the time it came out, but now, nearly 30 years later it’s a classic.
